I just sat down and streamed Revenge of the Superpowered Nerd, and I could not stop watching. If you want a story where an everyday target turns the tables on every single person who stepped on him, this hits the mark immediately.
Luke Peterson is seventeen years old, surviving on the South Side of Chicago. At home, his stepfather Bob Barrett is violent and cruel. At Peterson High School, football captain Jonathan Munroe and his crew treat Luke like a punching bag. The only person standing by Luke is his best friend Tommy, who ends up taking physical beatings meant for Luke.
Everything changes when a motorcade rolls straight into Luke's neighborhood. Matthew Bell, the head of the Peterson Group, arrives with a massive revelation: Luke is the sole legitimate heir to a global financial empire. With that birthright comes an ancient family signet ring that carries five supernatural abilities: invisibility, magnetic force, time suspension, X-ray vision, and spirit summoning.
Once Luke slips that ring on, the balance of power flips completely. You can watch Revenge of the Superpowered Nerd right here on Stillpointe. Read through our episode breakdown below to see how Luke goes from being discarded on the street to terrifying his bullies with a swarm of flying silverware.

EP 1: The True Heir
In a Chicago South Side apartment, Bob Barrett strangles Luke Peterson over alcohol until Luke flees into the street. Nearby, Peterson Group CEO Matthew Bell arrives in a luxury motorcade, watching his signet ring glow as he spots Luke. Luke arrives at Peterson High School, where his friend Tommy gives him food. Luke spots severe bruises across Tommy's arms and learns Jonathan Munroe's football crew attacked Tommy while hunting for Luke. Luke refuses to back down, marching down the hallway to demand Jonathan apologize to his friend.
EP 2: The Setup
Luke enters the football clubhouse to confront Jonathan, but head cheerleader Samantha Sutton waits there in black lingerie. She blindfolds Luke and strips him down to his underwear. Jonathan and his teammates burst into the room with phone cameras flashing to record the trap. The bullies throw Luke onto the wet pavement outside, where he cuts his hand on broken glass and swears vengeance. Seconds later, a luxury motorcade pulls up. A representative and suited bodyguards step out, immediately kneeling before the half-naked teenager on the street.
EP 3: The Ring Awakes
Tailors measure Luke for custom clothing inside the Peterson mansion. Matthew Bell explains Luke's father died ten years ago and Luke is the sole heir to the Peterson Group. Matthew presents the family signet ring. When Luke slides it onto his finger, blue and gold energy fuses the ring to his flesh. A floating wheel reveals five powers: invisibility, magnetic force, time suspension, X-ray vision, and spirit summoning. Following Matthew's guidance, Luke tests the invisibility power. His body turns translucent and disappears from Matthew's view entirely.
EP 4: Servitude and Threats
Still invisible, Luke walks into the mansion shower room and startles Matthew's daughter, Gwen Bell. Both teenagers confront Matthew in the study. Matthew insists Gwen must serve Luke under a family agreement. Luke and Gwen refuse the arrangement, with Luke stating he will never force anyone into servitude like a bully. Matthew gives Luke a custom tuxedo and promises protection. The conversation halts when Jonathan video-calls Luke's phone, showing his crew tormenting an unnamed captive dressed in a clown suit and throwing a knife into the person's shoulder.
EP 5: Knives at the Party
Jonathan gives Luke ten minutes to save his captive. Luke pedals a bicycle to Jonathan's estate and crashes into the poolside party, where partygoers and a woman in a yellow dress mock his appearance. Jonathan unveils Tommy West tied to a spinning circus target board in full clown makeup. After tossing a blade beside Tommy's face, Jonathan puts on a blindfold and hurls three knives simultaneously. Luke triggers his signet ring, sprints forward at supernatural speed, and snatches two knives in his bare hands and the third in his mouth.
EP 6: Pushed to the Edge
Luke drops a dagger at the feet of the bully in the gold jacket, unties Tommy, and apologizes. The bully orders his guards to attack and pulls a handgun on Luke, threatening Tommy's life. Luke complies to protect his friend, but the bodyguards beat Tommy unconscious anyway. The bully kicks Luke down, and the girl in the yellow dress drives her high heel into Luke's hand against the signet ring. Seeing his unconscious friend, Luke's eyes flash gold. He breaks free, curses at the tormentors, and twists his glowing ring.
EP 7: Magnetic Reckoning
Jonathan holds a blade to Luke's face and mocks Luke's parents. Luke refuses to take the abuse and activates the magnetic power of his ring. A glowing red shield knocks the attackers across the pool deck. Jonathan tries to slash forward, but the knife floats out of his grip. Luke's eyes turn red as he levitates metal silverware, cans, and cocktail shakers into the air, sending guests fleeing in panic. Luke directs the airborne metal at Jonathan, stopping a sharp fork millimeters from Jonathan's eyeball.
