Daddy, Your Little Angel Is Gone

Daddy, Your Little Angel Is Gone Episode Guide

1. EP 1: Left in the Cold

On Christmas Eve, an overturned car burns by a snowy road. Naomi lies bleeding and unresponsive while her terrified daughter Thea tries to warm her face. When Naomi's phone rings, Thea answers Miles's call and begs for help, explaining that a truck hit their car. Miles dismisses the deadly crash as a manipulative holiday lie. Celebrating with Margot and Clara beside a Christmas tree, Miles coldly tells Thea that Naomi can play dead if she wants, then abruptly hangs up.

2. EP 2: A Plea for Help

Thea uses her mother's phone to call her older brother Joel. Joel is busy playing computer games and demands money instead of listening. When Thea cries that their mother is not moving in the freezing snow, Joel curses and accuses them of acting before hanging up. Alone in the dark, Thea clings to her mother and asks if Santa could bring them home. Suddenly, a floating sphere of golden light appears in the snowy air, offering to help save Naomi.

3. EP 3: The Price to Pay

The glowing light explains the cost to heal Naomi. Thea must leave this world to accompany another father and daughter on a mission, erasing her existence here until her task is finished. Thea accepts the deal to keep her mother alive. She asks permission to say goodbye to Miles and Joel first. After the spirit vanishes, Thea removes her warm winter coat and places it over her dying mother. Dressed in only a thin dress, she begins walking down the icy road alone.

4. EP 4: A Bitter Reunion

Thea slips on the snowy street outside a luxury jewelry store. Through the window, she spots Miles holding Clara, who wears a pink dress. Thea darts across the street, nearly getting hit by an oncoming car. Miles steps outside with a gift box and angrily scolds Thea for her dirty appearance. When she explains she gave her coat to her freezing mother, Miles scoffs at the excuse. He leaves to grab a coat, giving Clara a chance to insult Thea viciously.

5. EP 5: Broken Piggy Bank

Clara taunts Thea on the sidewalk, bragging that she bought a pearl necklace using money stolen from Thea's piggy bank. When Thea reaches to take it back, the string snaps and pearls scatter across the pavement. Miles returns and wraps Clara in a warm cape. Clara lies and claims Thea attacked her. Miles ignores Thea's tears, defends Clara, and cruelly calls his own daughter a vicious liar. As Thea cries alone, Joel walks out of the store watching with a smirk.

6. EP 6: Turned Away

Thea holds up her cut hand and tells Miles that Clara broke her piggy bank and took her savings. Miles refuses to listen. He claims Thea's mother ruined her and tells Thea that a child like her deserves nothing. Miles turns his back and walks away with Clara. Thea collapses onto the freezing sidewalk in tears. Joel approaches holding a boxed gaming console and calls out for Miles and Clara to wait, ignoring his weeping sister on the pavement.

7. EP 7: Called Out on the Street

Miles walks down the street with Clara as Joel joins them. The boys show affection toward Clara while acting completely indifferent toward Thea, who sits dirty and shivering on the ground nearby. Thea tries to tell them again that Naomi is bleeding on the road. Joel boasts that Margot treats him far better than Naomi ever did. A female bystander sees Thea shivering in the winter chill and angrily confronts Miles for neglecting a young child.

8. EP 8: The Shadow of Woody

Miles makes excuses to the stranger, claiming Thea is difficult and lost her coat. Once the woman walks away, Miles accuses Thea of showing up just to humiliate him in public. Thea insists she only came to say goodbye before going away. Clara hugs Miles and sweetly suggests Thea come home to play ball with their massive dog, Woody. The mention of Woody triggers Thea's memory of being terrorized by the unleashed animal, sending her into a screaming panic.

9. EP 9: Pushed to the Edge

Miles forces a crying Thea into the car and drives the children to the mansion. After arriving, Miles and the others walk toward the house, leaving Thea outside in the cold. Clara unlocks a kennel and unleashes the large dog to chase Thea. Terrified, Thea runs and jumps into the outdoor swimming pool. When Thea tries to climb out of the water, Clara mocks her and stomps on her fingers. Thea grabs Clara's leg and pulls her into the water too.

10. EP 10: Cold Water

Both girls struggle in the icy pool. Miles rushes outside and pulls Clara to safety first while Thea sinks to the bottom. He then dives back in to retrieve an unconscious Thea. Clara lies immediately, claiming Thea dragged her in on purpose. Thea shivers and explains that Clara unleashed the dog and stomped on her fingers. Miles refuses to believe her and calls her vicious. Margot acts forgiving and suggests taking both girls to the hospital for an evaluation.

11. EP 11: Whispers in the Clinic

At the hospital, a nurse wraps Thea in blankets and treats her fever. Thea confides that a big truck crushed their car and her mother is lying unresponsive in the snow. Alarmed, the nurse rushes to find Dr. Cooper. In another room, Dr. Cooper tells Miles and Margot that Clara only caught a chill, but mentions concerns about Thea's hypothermia. Margot hurries the doctor away. Miles receives a phone call and complains that his staff still cannot locate Naomi.

12. EP 12: Take Me Away

Margot speaks with Miles about needing an organ transplant. Miles decides to test Thea as a donor match, calling the procedure a fitting punishment for her behavior. Outside the door, Thea overhears his cruel words. Her heart shatters. Weeping in the hallway, Thea drops her blanket as the glowing golden orb appears before her. The spirit reassures Thea that she is loved. Realizing her family will never care, Thea begs the light to take her away forever.
