Episode: 2
Nina phones the dock manager, Logan, about the takeover. Logan admits Damon switched out the crew, moved Chloe into the main cabin, and brought Nina's mother's heirloom clock onto the deck. On the yacht, Chloe blows out candles and ridicules Nina with the crowd. Damon demands Nina leave, calling the boat junk without his fame. Nina ignores their taunts and tells legal to audit Damon's assets immediately.
Nina speaks with Logan from the dock corridor. Logan admits Damon replaced the vessel's crew, gave Chloe the main cabin, and put Nina's late mother's antique clock on the deck. Nina orders Logan to secure all footage and expense records.
Chloe blows out the candles on her birthday cake while guests cheer. She makes condescending remarks directly at Nina. The party attendees join in by jeering at Nina, while Damon wraps his arm around Chloe and looks on without intervening.
Nina remembers back three years when Damon faced constant audition rejections with zero money to his name. She spent her own time and resources coaching him into a celebrity, and the two shared intimate promises during those early days.
Damon tells Nina to walk away and stop making a fool of herself. Nina reminds him that the yacht belongs to her. Damon claims the ship is worthless scrap without his celebrity status, while Chloe mockingly invites Nina to sit among the crew.
The party guests aim their phones at Nina to record her and mock her on camera. Nina stays completely composed on the dock. She places a direct phone call to the legal department, ordering a comprehensive investigation into Damon's personal finances.
“This is my yacht.”
“Don't flatter yourself. Without me this yacht is just junk.”
“Dig into everything Damon Hayes has done, especially his assets. Do it now.”
Party guests point their smartphones at Nina to record her humiliation, but Nina ignores them. She calls her legal team and demands an immediate audit of Damon's background and finances. Suddenly, a blinding flash of bright light erupts across the dock. What triggered the intense glare, and how will Nina use the legal findings against Damon?
