Serena Bellandi and Adriano Venturi stand at the altar for their wedding vows. Adriano gives Serena a soda can pull-tab, while bridesmaid Rosalie Voss wears the real engagement ring. Rosalie then shouts that she lost a contact lens. Adriano drops down to search the aisle floor. Serena texts a contact to rescue her. Lucia Berandi scolds Adriano, but he tells Serena to relax. A guest finds the scratched lens, and Rosalie weeps.

Episode 1 Scene by Scene

00:00: The Pull-Tab At The Altar
The priest administers wedding vows to the couple. Adriano presents Serena with a soda can pull-tab and claims he misplaced her real ring. Serena looks across the altar and spots her diamond engagement ring on Rosalie's finger.
01:23: Searching The Floor For A Lens
Rosalie suddenly calls out that her contact lens fell out. Adriano immediately abandons Serena at the altar and crawls on his hands and knees along the church aisle to search for it. Serena pulls out her phone and texts a contact.
01:58: Lucia Confronts The Groom
Lucia scolds Adriano for humiliating Serena and halting the ceremony. Adriano tells Serena to relax instead of apologizing. Serena stands alone and remembers past days when Adriano left her sick in bed so he could take care of Rosalie.
02:43: Rosalie's Scratched Lens
A wedding guest locates the missing contact lens on the floor and hands it back. Rosalie bursts into tears right away. She complains loudly that the lens is scratched and insists that she cannot wear it anymore.
