Quinn Calloway drops to the floor before Quinn's Father in the hospital. She pleads for eighty thousand dollars to rescue her sick mother. Her father coldly refuses her, stating he would rather spend money on a new wife, and walks off.
Outside the ICU, Quinn calls Brett Sterling to ask for financial support. Brett responds with venom. He tells Quinn that he is not a cash machine, orders her to find a paying man, ends the relationship, and blocks her calls.
Quinn looks through the glass partition at Quinn's Mother. With no aid from her father or partner, Quinn commits to saving her mother alone. She pulls a folded recruitment notice for Crescent Fertility egg donors from her coat pocket.
Quinn arrives at Crescent Fertility with the donor paper. She contacts the clinic desk by phone to ask about harvesting procedures. Quinn asks whether she can undergo multiple cycles to secure the eighty thousand dollars needed for the hospital bills.
Quinn spins around in the reception area and collides with Wyatt Sterling and his security detail. Wyatt catches her. He stoops to lift the dropped paper, scans the twenty-thousand-dollar fee, and asks Quinn if that is all she is worth.
“Sweetheart, for that kind of money I'll go find myself a younger wife.”
“Not my circus, not my monkeys. You want cash? Go find a guy who likes paying for it.”
“Ok then I save her myself. Whatever it takes.”
“Egg donor. 20 grand a pop. That all you think you're worth?”
