Episode 8 recap: The Smash Upstairs
Leonardo walks down into the rainy parking lot and finds Luca. A crew of armed men in suits bows low and calls Leonardo their Godfather. Leonardo tells them to keep quiet. He hides the truth from Luca because he wants to shield Sofia from his violent history. Upstairs, Sofia begs Jack to spare her father. Jack demands favors, but Sofia shakes with fear. Jack becomes furious, throws Sofia to the floor, and kicks over a glass coffee table. Down in the parking lot, the shattering glass echoes through the night. Leonardo stops at his truck and looks up.
