Episode 5 recap: Left at the Courthouse

The family waits at Nassau County Court for Elena's name change. Sofia receives a phone alert showing movers packing up her photo studio. Sofia hyperventilates and begs to go home. Catalina, Luca, Matteo, and Nico rush Sofia to the elevator. Lorenzo leaves right after them for an emergency at the pier. They all abandon Elena before her hearing. The court clerk asks Elena if she still wants to proceed. Tired of being cast aside for Sofia, Elena tells the clerk to withdraw the petition. She chooses to keep Hart, the name from her adoptive mother.
