Mrs. Sterling and Hunter demand she apologize on her knees.

    Vanessa hides behind Hunter and pretends to weep after the wine incident. Hailey spots a subtle smirk on Vanessa's face. Hailey realizes her sister planned this entire scene to humiliate her in front of the crowd.

    Hunter gestures toward the banquet hall's giant screen. The monitor plays a video of Hailey kneeling outside the Pierce estate during a heavy downpour two years ago. The watching guests laugh and mock Hailey for begging her way into the family.

  3. 00:30: The Forced Marriage Flashback

    A memory surfaces from two years prior. Mr. and Mrs. Sterling locked Hailey in a room for three days without any food or water. Afterward, they dragged her straight to the Pierce residence to force her into marrying Hunter.
