Elena Moretti has always seen red lines above people's heads that count their past partners. After someone drugs Adrian De Luca at a charity gala, he sleeps with Elena's stepsister Sophia. The next morning, Adrian breaks off their engagement and promises Elena a cash settlement and any other De Luca relative as a replacement groom. Elena flips through the candidate photos and picks Lorenzo, a man everyone calls a wild playboy.

    Inside a hotel bedroom, Adrian De Luca struggles with the effects of a spiked drink from a charity gala. Sophia wears Elena's robe in the dark room. Adrian confuses Sophia for Elena and climbs into bed with her.

  3. 00:23: Adrian Proposes an Alternative Marriage

    The next day, Elena notices multiple new red lines above Adrian's head. Adrian wraps his arm around Sophia and announces their upcoming wedding. He drops a bank check and a pile of family pictures before Elena as compensation.

  4. 00:48: Elena Chooses Lorenzo De Luca

    Elena browses past portraits of elite heirs and stops at Lorenzo De Luca. Adrian angrily protests that Lorenzo is an illegitimate disgrace. Elena insists on her choice because she sees zero red lines above Lorenzo's picture.
