Ryan and his mistress discuss the upcoming press conference regarding the Bosch Group inheritance. Ryan dismisses his recent sighting of a woman who looks like Stella as a trick of the mind. He enters Stella's executive office and mocks her death while looking at her portrait. The couple begins an intimate encounter on her desk. The lights dim, and a woman in a black veil enters the room, causing the mistress to scream in fear.
Ryan’s mistress tells him that reporters want information about the inheritance rights. Ryan instructs her to set an announcement for the next day. He dismisses his earlier encounter with a woman who looked like Stella as just an illusion.
Ryan sits on Stella’s desk and gloats about murdering her by pushing her off the roof. His mistress joins him in the office, and he lifts her onto the desk to be intimate, celebrating his successful takeover.
As the pair embraces on the desk, the room lights dim. A woman dressed in black with a veil silently walks in behind them. The mistress turns around, sees the figure, and screams because of the sudden appearance.
“Tell them I'll announce the transfer of Bosch Group's inheritance rights at tomorrow's press conference.”
“So what if you were born into nobility? In the end you were still pushed off the rooftop by me, your live-in son-in-law, and died without even a proper burial.”
“This is Stella's desk.”
“Doesn't that make it even more exciting?”
The lights dim in the executive office as the couple celebrates their triumph. A mysterious woman dressed in black mourning attire walks into the room unnoticed behind them. The mistress turns around, sees the figure who looks exactly like the dead Stella, and lets out a loud, terrified scream. Does Ryan realize his victim has returned, or will he dismiss the figure as another hallucination?
