Episode 5 recap: The Broken Promise
In the penthouse suite, Vivian accuses Winnie of stealing her three-million-dollar diamond earrings and demands she strip for a search. Winnie refuses, stating Mr. Moretti watched her clean the entire time. The manager warns Winnie that Moretti is a powerful mafia don. Vivian grabs Winnie's bag, causing a glass moon ornament inside to fall and shatter on the floor. A flashback reveals Moretti had given Winnie that exact crystal moon years ago as a promise of their future wedding.
