Episode: 5
In the middle of the night, the snake bride hears whimpering and tracks it to Julian's room. She finds Brett sitting on Julian's chest with a raised fist, pinning the boy down. The female lead glides in with her serpent tail showing. Brett tells her to leave, but she orders him off Julian. Brett bares his fangs, so she wraps her tail around him, lifts him into the air, and grabs his finger.
At midnight, the female lead wakes up and hears a soft whimper drifting down the dark hall. She follows the quiet sound along the corridor until she stops directly outside Julian's bedroom door.
She looks through the doorway and spots Brett sitting right on top of Julian's chest. Brett pins the young boy's wrist down and raises a fist, warning Julian not to alert his mother.
The female lead moves into the bedroom with her serpent lower half clearly exposed. Brett barks at her to leave the room immediately, but she firmly commands him to get off Julian.
Brett snarls at her and bares his sharp fangs in defiance. Instead of retreating, the female lead loops her large snake tail around Brett's body and hoists him straight into midair.
Brett thrashes in her tail's tight hold and screams that his mother will kill her and kick her out. The female lead coldly shrugs off his words and grabs his pointed finger.
“Shut up! You want my mom to find out? She'll lock you up again.”
“Get off him.”
“Put me down! My mom will kill you!”
“Your mom isn't here right now.”
The episode closes with Brett dangling helplessly in midair inside the coils of her serpent tail. When he promises that his mother will throw her out, the female lead firmly grabs his pointing finger without blinking. Will Brett back down after this confrontation, and how will Valentina respond when she discovers her son suspended in the air?
