Episode 5 recap: The Job Interview Pitch
Ethan runs into two of the boys driving a toy Porsche on the street before security and their babysitter retrieve them. Later, Ava waits in the corporate lounge for her interview. Her former classmate Celeste Whitmore confronts her, insulting her status as a single mother and having an associate scatter Ava's resume across the floor. Ethan arrives right as the commotion peaks. Ava refuses to back down. She directly explains her unmatched organizational skills in managing tight schedules and family budgets to Ethan, handing him her resume while Celeste watches in silence.
