Episode: 4
Mia returns home to find a gold box of chocolates waiting for her. Her mother explains that Blake dropped it off from abroad and invited her to his party with Ethan. When Mia opens the package on the couch, four chocolate letters are missing. Jessica posts a photo online featuring the letters JESS from Blake. Heartbroken by the leftover present, Mia walks outside and dumps the box into the trash bin.
Mia enters her house and meets her mother by the kitchen. Her mother hands her a gold box of chocolates from Blake. She adds that Blake invited Mia to celebrate his and Ethan's return at a party tonight.
Mia sits down and inspects the chocolate box she once described to the text account. Inside, four letters are gone. A social media post from Jessica pops up, picturing Blake gifting Jessica the missing pieces that spell JESS.
Mia's mother asks if she likes the present. With tears in her eyes, Mia admits that she does not like it at all. She carries the opened box out of the house and drops it straight into the trash.
“Blake stopped by earlier. Said some friends are throwing him and Ethan a welcome-back party tonight, and you should come. He brought you this from abroad.”
“Do you like it?”
“I don't like it.”
Mia stands outside by the trash can after throwing Blake's ruined gift away. Blake could not even give her an untouched box of sweets. Instead, he saved the best pieces for Jessica and handed Mia what remained. Will Mia still attend Blake and Ethan's welcome-back party tonight, or will she walk away from Blake for good?
