Episode: 1
Lyra explains that House Veyne views her as useless. In a childhood memory, an attacker grabbed her, and her shout turned him into sea foam. In the present, Serena rejects an arranged marriage to the dying prince Kael Draven. Aldric and Eveline decide Lyra must take Serena's place. Lyra recalls how her childhood test pearl failed to glow. Guards push Lyra into the bridal carriage, and Serena mocks her through the window.
Lyra explains that her family considers her a voiceless waste. House Veyne selects her to take her sister Serena's place in an arranged marriage. She must wed the dying sea dragon prince and perish beside him in his palace.
In a childhood flashback within undersea ruins, a man grabs young Lyra. Lyra screams at him to leave her alone. Her voice unleashes the Sea God's power, dissolving the man into sea foam as her words become divine reality.
Serena throws down the marriage agreement in the banquet hall. She refuses to wed Prince Kael Draven because he has six months left to live. Aldric and Eveline Veyne order Lyra to take her sister's place instead.
Lyra recalls their childhood gift testing ceremony in the hall. Serena's test pearl shines brightly before the family, while Lyra's pearl stays completely dark. Because of this failed test, her family ostracizes her and treats her as worthless.
Outside the palace, guards shove Lyra directly into the bridal carriage. Serena walks up to the carriage window to mock her sister. She coldly tells Lyra that she will collect her dead body once she passes away.
“Serena is the future of this family. Lyra will take her place in this marriage. A voiceless siren is a perfect match for a dying prince.”
“Leave me alone!”
“Lyra, you have no gift and no voice. At least you can help Serena escape this marriage.”
“A voiceless siren who can't even sing is lucky to marry a prince. When you die, I'll collect your body.”
Guards push Lyra into the bridal carriage outside House Veyne. Serena peers through the window, sneering that she will collect Lyra's corpse after she dies. Lyra begins her journey toward the dying prince. Will Prince Kael Draven execute her on arrival, or will Lyra's hidden divine power alter her fate?
