Valeria's fatal car crash and hospital death rewind in reverse. She suddenly wakes up in her bed without a scratch. Looking at her phone, she sees the date is May 2024. Downstairs, Amancio hands her divorce papers sent by Lisandro Valcárcel. Remembering her lonely death, Valeria refuses to cry. She gets dressed in a pink satin gown, applies makeup, and calls Jason to deliver an ultimatum to Lisandro about their divorce.
The dropped locket lifts from the hospital floor, and the fatal collision rewinds completely on the roadway. Valeria's final moments pull backward in time, erasing the injuries and sirens until the tragedy vanishes.
Valeria gasps and sits straight up in her bed. She touches her arms and checks her uninjured body in disbelief. She picks up her smartphone, stares at the calendar screen, and realizes the date is May 2024.
Valeria runs downstairs and asks Amancio for the exact day. The butler tells her it is May 21, 2024. He then steps forward and gives her an envelope from Lisandro Valcárcel containing official divorce documents.
Standing in her dressing room, Valeria remembers being abandoned in the hospital during her previous life. She applies fresh makeup in the mirror, puts on an elegant pink satin dress, and decides to control her own future.
Valeria walks to the staircase with her phone in hand. She dials Jason to relay a message directly to her husband. She declares that she agrees to the divorce, but demands they proceed strictly on her conditions.
“Mr. Valcárcel asked me to give you this when you woke up.”
“This time, no one will take what is mine. This time, I'll write my own ending.”
“Jason, it's Valeria. I need you to give my husband a message. Tell him I want a divorce. But we'll do it my way.”
