Elara wakes up in bed with a bandaged leg. She overhears the brothers complaining outside, saying they are only sitting by her bed so she will not complain to their father and get Tessa punished. When Elara tells them she will not report anything and they can leave, the five brothers suddenly shower her with gifts, offering water, white roses, chocolates, a necklace, and a plush fox. When Elara questions their sudden kindness, Kieran admits the real reason: they need Elara's healing blood to treat Tessa's burns.
