Lily pretends to be weak and apologizes to Roman. Julian immediately takes off his tailored jacket and wraps it around Lily. He turns on Roman and angrily asks how his father could raise such a rude daughter.

Ryder leans against the bathroom sink while flicking his lighter open and shut. He insists the brothers are not biased. He tells Roman they are only teaching Evelyn a harsh lesson before society punishes her for acting entitled.

In Roman's silent memory, he recalls pulling the four boys out of a brutal orphanage a decade ago. He gave them elite tutors and shared his wealth. Now the brothers use those skills to hurt his own daughter.

Roman walks past Adrian, Julian, Nolan, and Ryder without answering their excuses. He steps toward Evelyn as she trembles on the floor. Roman removes his coat, wraps her battered body inside it, and pulls her into his arms.
