Don Traded His Wife for Another Woman Episode Guide
EP 1: The Cruel Joke
During a high-rise party, Don Adrian Moretti drops to his knees before his pregnant wife Ava. He demands she donate her heart to save his favored companion, Chloe Frost. When Ava protests that she is three months from giving birth, Adrian cold-heartedly tells her they can have another baby. Chloe suddenly laughs and reveals the medical match was just a joke. Adrian stands up with a dark face. Subordinates quickly beg for Chloe, citing her past sacrifices. Adrian calms down, gently wipes Chloe's tear, and ignores Ava entirely. Ava quietly schedules an induced labor procedure on her phone.
EP 2: Worthless Keepsakes
Adrian gives a careless apology for not checking details about the heart match. Ava recalls past betrayals, including Christmas Eve when Adrian abandoned her while five months pregnant to drive a thousand miles to Miami for Chloe's stomachache. At a press conference, Adrian publicly credited Chloe for giving him courage. Ava's trembling hands shatter a handmade ceramic vase from their past trip to an Italian town. Ava crouches down to gather the ceramic pieces. Adrian pulls her up and coldly dismisses the item as a worthless vase before asking about her pregnancy.
EP 3: The Study Confession
Ava enters Adrian's study with fruit and discovers a locked display case containing a twenty-dollar pen given to him by Chloe. Hurt by the sight, Ava smashes the glass and throws the pen into the trash. Adrian retrieves the cheap pen like a treasure and lashes out at her. Ava demands he swear he has no feelings for Chloe. Adrian openly confesses his feelings. He admits kissing Ava brings no excitement after eleven years together. He lights a cigar and insists Ava can keep her title only if she accepts Chloe's place in his heart.
EP 4: An Announcement at the Party
Ava recalls more neglect, from Adrian missing prenatal visits to taking Chloe on a Hawaii vacation. In a private banquet lounge, Chloe attempts a fake apology. An associate tries to smooth things over but accidentally mentions Chloe once drunkenly announced she wanted to marry Adrian. Silence covers the room. Adrian sits frozen beside them. Ava remains completely calm in front of the crowd. She looks directly at Chloe and announces she and Adrian are divorcing soon, telling Chloe she hopes she finally gets what she wants.
EP 5: Empty Threats in the Rain
Adrian scolds Ava for bringing up divorce and claims Chloe has a reputation to protect. Ava tells him they will meet at the lawyer's office on Monday. Chloe drops to her knees crying. When Ava mocks the act, Adrian threatens her hospitalized mother at Moretti Medical Center. Ava swallows her fury, smiles, and helps Chloe stand up. On the car ride home through heavy rain, Adrian attempts to smooth things over. He offers to attend her prenatal checkup. Ava shuts him down, demanding a divorce and cutting all ties between them.
EP 6: The Hospital Hallway
Adrian mocks Ava's divorce demands in the car until Chloe calls claiming she feels sick. Adrian hits the brakes and forces pregnant Ava into the pouring rain to reach Chloe. Ava waits in a store until three in the morning and takes a cab home. The next morning, a doctor warns Ava that inducing labor now means she will likely never conceive again. Ava signs the termination consent form anyway. In the hallway, she runs into a healthy Chloe, who gloatingly reveals Adrian demanded Ava's heart based on a casual comment.
