MY Cursed Merman Prince

MY Cursed Merman Prince Episode Guide

1. EP 1: The Broken Uniform

In the royal academy hall, Prince Aster suffers a terrible humiliation when his royal uniform bursts open at the back. Classmates burst out laughing and ridicule his weight. A white-bearded royal elder steps forward with a harsh ultimatum. Aster has three days until his final assessment before the coronation, and failure will permanently strip him of his status as First Heir. The cruel students mock him and shove past him. Left alone in the empty hall, Aster weeps in despair as he looks at his reflection.

2. EP 2: A Mistaken Confession

Behind a coral reef on the seabed, the chubby merman eats a sandwich while crying over his ripped clothes and impending failure. He spots a graceful figure with long flowing hair swimming along the sunlit path. Gathering his courage, he decides to confess his feelings. He swims up behind the stranger, calls him a beautiful miss, and asks for the honor of courting him. Sudden panic strikes him the moment the figure begins to turn around. He freezes in terror over his dreadful mistake.

3. EP 3: Public Humiliation

Cassian turns around and reveals that he is actually a man. The surrounding academy students burst into loud mockery, shocked that the prince could not tell the guard instructor from a woman. Adrian tearfully offers apologies. He crashes into a tray of pastries and flees down the corridor in shame. A mocking student tells Cassian not to take the incident personally. Cassian ignores the gossip. Instead, he swims through the kelp forest to catch up with Adrian and finish his sentence.

4. EP 4: The Glowing Conch

Adrian retreats into a dark reef cave, weeping beside his scraped tail and arms. He curses his weight and his clumsy confession. In the sand, a mysterious conch shell glows with golden light. The shell feels alive and seems to watch him. Adrian wishes he could be thin and handsome so the mockery would stop. When his fingers touch the shell, a violent golden vortex erupts from the artifact. The bright energy completely swallows the desperate prince.

5. EP 5: The Conch Spirit

The glowing conch releases white smoke and reveals a magical spirit with a cat's head and a serpent's body. The spirit complains about being disturbed after sleeping for three thousand years. After hearing Adrian explain how everyone laughed at his failed confession, the creature makes an unexpected offer. The spirit promises to grant Adrian three wishes. The creature claims it can deliver beauty, power, or whatever Adrian wants to turn his life around.

6. EP 6: A Dangerous Trade

Adrian begs the spirit to give him a handsome appearance. The cat-headed spirit warns him that magical gifts are hollow shells that offer no true substance. Adrian rejects the caution. He insists that an empty shell is far better than remaining a full-time joke to his peers. He agrees to pay whatever cost is required. The spirit spins the conch shell, unleashing violent golden lightning. The energy engulfs Adrian, and he screams in pain while the spirit declares the first wish granted.

7. EP 7: The Painful Transformation

Fiery magic reshapes Adrian's body inside the underwater cave. The cat creature watches the agonizing transformation and tells him to endure the pain. When the glow fades, Adrian discovers a slender body and a light, agile tail. He swims through the cave with effortless grace, thrilled by his new mobility. He boasts that no one will laugh at him tomorrow. The creature tries to caution him, but Adrian swims off. Alone in the cave, the creature wonders if Adrian will even survive until midnight.

8. EP 8: Return to the Academy

Adrian arrives at the academy with his slim, handsome physique. Surprised students crowd around the newcomer until he proudly reveals his identity. The hallway erupts in applause. Nearby, Prince Cyrus hides behind a coral pillar. He watches his cousin with sharp suspicion because nobody transforms overnight. Adrian announces that today is a fresh start. Instructor Cassian swims into the grand hall, and the crowd parts. Adrian nervously steps forward to greet the guard instructor face-to-face.

9. EP 9: Unmasked by Habit

Adrian expects Cassian to admire his new appearance in the grand hall. Instead, Cassian studies him carefully. Cassian notices Adrian takes a deep breath before speaking and repeats specific verbal habits. Cassian announces publicly that Adrian is the same prince who confessed at the fountain yesterday. The academy students gasp and whisper in disbelief. Nearby, a blonde nobleman in a green coat watches with an amused smile. Adrian feels humiliated by the public exposure. He shoves through the crowd and swims away.

10. EP 10: The Secret Offer

Adrian hides among the corals to check if his enchanted appearance is holding. Cassian follows him into the hideout. Adrian lashes out, accusing Cassian of humiliating him in front of the academy. Cassian calmly explains that clarifying his gender was not a rejection. Adrian simply fled before letting him finish speaking. Cassian tells Adrian to meet him at the lion fountain tomorrow afternoon to re-ask his question without fleeing. After Cassian leaves, Adrian touches his face. He prays his magic lasts until tomorrow.

11. EP 11: Meeting at the Fountain

Adrian joins Cassian by the lion fountain in the palace courtyard. Cassian explains how noon sunlight creates rainbows in the spray. Adrian keeps glancing at the watching students, admitting his constant fear of ridicule. Cassian comforts him, noting that his daily patrol feels special today because Adrian is sitting beside him. Adrian smiles, but the magic suddenly fractures. His body begins expanding back toward its original shape. Clutched by panic, Adrian promises to find Cassian tomorrow and flees through the water.

12. EP 12: The Cloak Falls

Adrian hides behind an academy pillar while his seams rip. Cassian arrives quickly, wraps him in a dark cloak, and guides him into the grand hall. The magic fails completely, and Adrian returns to his original chubby form. Adrian drops the cloak and faces the crowd. He boldly announces that this is who he truly is. The students mock him, while Cyrus watches from the shadows with a photo on his phone. Adrian sends Cassian away and swims off alone in grief.
