I just stayed up late watching My Husband’s Secret Lover Was My Best Friend right here on Stillpointe, and I need to tell you about it. The setup pulled me in immediately. Nora Bennett spends three years suspecting that her husband, Ethan, is cheating on her. She tracks his car and even breaks her laptop out of desperation. At one point she swallows a whole bottle of pills in front of him to force an admission. Ethan just hugs her in the hospital and insists she is imagining things. Meanwhile, her closest friend of eighteen years, Chloe Reed, holds her hand and promises to help her track down the mistress.
The truth comes out in the worst way possible. Nora walks down a hospital corridor with hot soup for Chloe. Through the door, she hears Ethan confess his love to Chloe. It turns out Chloe is the secret lover. The two have carried on an affair for three whole years right behind Nora's back. Instead of screaming, Nora steps back into the hallway. She cries alone by the wall. Then she wipes her tears and decides her marriage is finished.
Watching Nora turn the tables makes every scene satisfying. She serves soup with a cold smile and hints about finding Chloe a husband. Ethan gets so nervous about his secrets that he slams on his car brakes in panic. You can watch My Husband’s Secret Lover Was My Best Friend online on this site whenever you want to follow the drama. My Husband’s Secret Lover Was My Best Friend Episode Guide
EP 1: The Hospital Room Secret
Nora Bennett wakes up to a painful truth after three years of suspicion. In the past, Ethan denied every accusation, even when Nora swallowed pills in front of him out of sheer desperation. Her childhood friend Chloe Reed promised to help her uncover the mistress. That loyal front shatters at the hospital. Nora brings Chloe some soup and pauses outside the room. She hears Ethan confess that he loves Chloe. When Chloe pulls a knife to threaten suicide, Ethan hugs her tightly. Nora watches through the glass and chooses to walk away.
EP 2: Matchmaking at the Bedside
Nora washes her face in the restroom before stepping into Chloe's room with the soup. She remembers feeding Chloe years ago after Chloe lost her parents in an accident. When Ethan reaches out to touch Nora, she pulls her hand back. Nora peels an apple and casually offers to teach Chloe's future husband how to cook the soup. The comment rattles Ethan so badly that he spills his water. Nora then pulls out her phone to show Chloe photos of eligible bachelors. Ethan glares at her and demands to know why she cares.
EP 3: A Sudden Stop
Chloe hugs Nora in the hospital bed and insists she only needs their friendship. Nora pulls back gently. She warns Chloe to tell the truth if she ever falls in love with someone. Ethan ushers Nora out of the room to stop the conversation. During the drive home, Ethan tries to hold Nora's hand and asks about dinner plans. Nora shrugs and tells him whatever he wants is fine. Ethan loses his temper over her cold reply. Nora looks straight ahead and tells him to take her where he takes other girls. Ethan slams on the brakes.
EP 4: Abandoned in the Garage
The sudden stop leaves a bruise on Nora's forehead. Ethan gets angry when she avoids his touch and shouts that he is not cheating. He parks in a mall garage for dinner. Nora recalls Chloe recommending that exact restaurant. While they sit in the car, Ethan receives a call from an unnamed contact with a blue sky avatar. He steps outside and smiles with excitement. Nora asks him to stay, but Ethan transfers one hundred thousand to her phone instead. He drives off alone. Nora wanders inside and stares at The Lovers tarot card.
EP 5: Drafting the Papers
The tarot card triggers an old memory for Nora. During their school days, both girls drew the same card, and Nora promised to step aside if they loved the same man. Now the betrayal hits her hard. She drops to the mall floor in tears. Once she returns home, she contacts her lawyer, David, to file for divorce. Nora plans to take a public relations manager role in Calder City to rebuild her career. The printer finishes spitting out the paperwork at dawn. Ethan walks into the study with fresh croissants, completely unaware of the divorce papers.
EP 6: An Unwanted Houseguest
Nora hides the divorce papers under a desk folder as Ethan offers her breakfast. When she asks about his business deal, Ethan turns defensive. He suddenly announces that Chloe had broken water pipes at her apartment and will stay with them. Chloe arrives with her luggage. Nora blocks the entrance and rejects the idea, but Ethan grabs Nora by the arm to reprimand her. Before the fight escalates, Chloe runs into the bathroom and vomits into the toilet bowl. Ethan kneels beside Chloe in panic. Nora tosses a tissue box down and asks if Chloe is pregnant.
EP 7: The Truth in the Bathroom
Chloe claims her nausea is only an upset stomach. Ethan wipes Chloe's face and hands her water. Nora watches them and asks if Ethan is the father. Startled, Chloe spits her water out and blurts out that Ethan is not the father of her baby. That slip confirms the pregnancy. Nora screams in heartbreak. She is furious that Chloe spent three years pretending to search for the mistress. Ethan tries to shield Chloe and begs Nora to save their friendship. Nora slaps Ethan twice. Then she grabs an umbrella and beats him until Chloe intervenes.
