Nora sees a tarot card in a shop window and remembers an old promise to Chloe. She breaks down crying in the mall lobby after stopping herself from sending a text. Back home, Nora calls her lawyer David and orders divorce papers. She looks back at how she gave up her career for Ethan. At dawn, the divorce documents print out just as Ethan walks in with breakfast.
Nora looks at The Lovers tarot card in a display window. In a flashback to their school classroom, she and Chloe draw the same card. Nora promises Chloe that she will step aside if they ever fall for the same man.
Nora stands alone in the mall lobby and types a message to Chloe on her phone. She stops before sending it. Overwhelmed by Chloe and Ethan's betrayal, Nora drops to the floor and weeps in the middle of the hallway.
In her study, Nora calls her lawyer, David. She remembers pitching clients in the rain to help Ethan build his business. Nora tells David to draft divorce papers, split their assets legally, and accepts a PR job in Calder City.
The printer finishes running off the divorce agreement at sunrise. Ethan walks into the study holding a bag of croissants from his night away. He smiles at Nora, completely unaware of the legal papers sitting right on her desk.
“Nora we're not gonna fall for the same guy someday, are we?”
“If we do, you have to tell me. No guy is worth more than you. If you want him, I'll walk away.”
“I found her.”
“Why are you up so early?”
Daylight enters the home study as Nora finishes printing the divorce agreement. Ethan strolls into the room with fresh croissants from his night out and greets her with a cheerful smile. How will Ethan react when he notices the divorce petition on the desk, and will Nora reveal that she knows about Chloe right away?
