I just spent the evening watching this series on Stillpointe, and the story moved fast from the opening minute. Serena Corleone finds herself trapped under heavy enemy gunfire inside her family study. She hands over a treasured heirloom brooch so her fiancé Finn can escape and fetch help. Finn turns on her immediately and shoots her in the back. His secret lover Lily Mason steps forward to reveal their scheme. Finn mocks Serena, lights the study on fire, and leaves her to die. Hawk, the Corleone family enforcer with a prosthetic arm, breaks into the flames. He refuses to abandon Serena. He holds her close, and Serena vows to choose him if she ever gets another chance.
Serena opens her eyes inside a sunlit church. She is completely unhurt, seated right between her father Martin and her mother Eleanor. Time turned back to the morning of her husband selection ceremony. Finn sits across the aisle with a confident smirk on his face. He expects Serena to hand him the family ring and seal his power. Serena remembers the fire and turns the tables. She announces Hawk as her chosen partner on the spot. Her father agrees to delay the public celebration for seven days, which sets up a massive collision between Finn and the family.
Finn stays completely clueless about Serena's rebirth. He acts entitled, drags Lily around town, and expects Serena to bankroll their lavish lifestyle. Serena flips every single scheme back on him. Don Corleone prepares to give Finn the signet ring, but Serena interrupts the ceremony. She chooses Hawk instead. Her parents question her choice because of Hawk's disabled left hand. Serena defends Hawk and honors the sacrifice he made for the family. Her father agrees to hold the official announcement until the engagement party seven days later. Outside the cathedral, Finn assumes he won. He demands that Serena buy an apology gift for Lily. Serena walks past him, grabs Hawk by his collar, and mocks Finn right to his face.
EP 3: Boutique Confrontation
In the estate courtyard, Finn tries to grab Serena in anger. Hawk twists Finn's wrist with his bionic hand and forces him off the grounds. Serena takes off Hawk's sunglasses and tells him to prepare the ring for their ceremony in seven days. Later, Serena visits a boutique to look at gemstone-studded ties. Finn arrives holding hands with Lily. He assumes the rare ties belong to him and tries to claim them. Serena stops him cold and demands to know who said the accessories were meant for him.
EP 4: The Eight Hundred Thousand Dollar Bill
Serena informs Finn that the tie carries the family crest, and wearing it without permission brings death. Finn drops the tie onto the floor. He tells Lily to pick out jewelry instead, bragging that Serena will cover the cost. Serena tells the maid to burn the soiled tie. She places a gun on the counter and secretly instructs the manager to charge everything to Finn. If he cannot pay, the staff must kill him. Finn finishes packing luxury goods for Lily, but the manager hands him an eight hundred thousand dollar bill.
EP 5: Crushed Pride and Ruined Flowers
Finn demands that Serena clear the massive boutique bill. Serena refuses and threatens his reputation. When Finn demands the gun he once gifted her, Serena pulls it out, calls it street vendor garbage, and crushes it under her heel. Finn promises Lily that he will tap Serena's trust fund after the wedding. Later, workers set up hydrangeas for the engagement party on the estate lawn. Serena wears an ornate brooch from Hawk. Finn storms the lawn and kicks over a flower vase, shouting that Lily hates hydrangeas and ordering staff to remove them.
EP 6: The Shameless Mistress Demand
Serena stops the maids from clearing the hydrangeas. Finn tries to touch her shoulder, but she shakes him off. Guests gather and congratulate Finn on winning the Corleone heiress. Finn ignores the praise and takes Lily's hand in front of the crowd. He proclaims his love for Lily and claims Serena forced the union on him. Serena claps and mocks his display. Finn then demands that Serena convince Don Corleone to let Lily move into the mansion as his official mistress. The guests stand frozen while Serena smiles coldly.
