Serena remembers Hawk dying beside her in the past life's fire. In the estate courtyard, Finn tries to scold her, but Hawk twists Finn's wrist and forces him off. Hawk then meets Serena on the chapel steps. She removes his sunglasses and tells him to prepare their ring. Later at a jewelry boutique, Finn arrives with Lily and claims Serena's ties, prompting Serena's cold rebuke.
Serena remembers Hawk dying beside her in the flames during their past life. Finn approaches angrily to reprimand her and attempts to grab her arm. Hawk catches Finn's wrist with his bionic hand, twists it, and orders him away.
Hawk meets Serena near the chapel steps to report on Finn. Serena removes Hawk's sunglasses and praises his appearance. She confirms her genuine intention to marry him and tells him to prepare their engagement ring.
Serena browses two gemstone-studded ties alongside Margaret. Finn arrives hand-in-hand with Lily, consoling his mistress. Finn assumes the rare ties are meant for him and Lily, but Serena cuts him off with a frigid rebuke.
“Do you want to lose that hand?”
“Then get the ring ready. I'll see you at our engagement in seven days.”
