Leah recalls Bishop Samuel's lessons about vampires being corrupt, evil enemies. Inside the ruined sanctuary, Elias tackles her onto the floor and traps her among glass shards. Leah resists, but Elias derides her holy status and touches her throat. He bites Leah directly under the altar statue. Leah shivers, loses her strength, and falls down. Crying on her wedding day, she grabs his jacket while he sneers.
Leah recalls what Samuel taught her about vampires. The church considers them creatures of blood, evil, and corruption. She remembers that church members exist as natural enemies to these monsters, setting herself against the creature before her.
Elias lunges at Leah, trapping her against the floor covered in broken glass. She orders him to release her and struggles to break free. Elias ignores her protests, running his fingers along her neck and mocking her virginal purity.
Elias drives his fangs into Leah's neck right in front of the holy icon. Overwhelmed by sudden weakness, Leah trembles and drops to her knees. Elias stays locked onto her throat, drinking her blood as she slumps under the statue.
Tears stream down Leah's face as she grips Elias's lapels, feeling defiled on her wedding day. Elias places his hand on her wet cheek. Instead of showing pity, he smiles and mocks her holiness with a cruel thank you.
“Let go of me!”
“A nun's blood. A virgin's purity. How exquisite.”
“You depraved beast, don't touch me!”
“Little nun. Thank you for the blood.”
Elias smirks with glowing red eyes, resting his hand on Leah's tear-stained face while blood coats her neck. He whispers his mocking thanks for her blood, leaving her trembling on the chapel floor. Will Samuel arrive in time to save his bride, or will Elias destroy Leah completely before the wedding ceremony can even begin?
