Rebecca greets her husband, Adrian Cross, with a hug in the hallway. Adrian reveals he left Switzerland before completing his heart treatment to celebrate her birthday and their fifth wedding anniversary. Rebecca invites him to attend an upcoming meeting. Ryan exits the elevator, spots them together, and assumes Adrian is a secret boy toy. After Rebecca walks off, Ryan storms up to Adrian and aggressively demands to know who he is.

    Ryan steps out of the elevator and spots Rebecca hugging Adrian. He assumes Rebecca is keeping a younger boy toy behind the Chairman's back. He decides to get rid of the lover and chase Rebecca to take over the company.

    Adrian and Rebecca tease each other about having a secret boy toy. They share a loving goodbye in the corridor before Rebecca walks away to attend her scheduled business meeting, leaving Adrian waiting outside alone.

    As soon as Rebecca leaves, Ryan marches across the hallway directly toward Adrian. Ryan shouts in Adrian's face, fiercely demanding to know what kind of relationship the young man has with Rebecca.
