Iris and William Birkins announce Leon Kennedy as the King of Cooking at a grand ceremony. The curtains open to reveal an empty throne with only a chef's hat on the seat. Leon rushes to the hospital in his chef's uniform and discovers his wife Sarah died from a car crash. At her grave, Leon places his Damascus knife into a box. He walks away with Dante. Iris stands on stage beside Michelin restaurant owner William Birkins. They name Leon Kennedy the new King of Cooking in front of the crowd. Stagehands draw back the curtain to reveal the throne. Leon is missing, leaving behind only a chef's hat.

“Your undisputed King of Cooking, Chef Leon Kennedy!”
“I don't want to be King of Cooking if it means losing you.”
