Guinevere shows President Taliesin the lion emblem necklace taken from her savior. Taliesin recognizes it as an item from Albion. At the Continental Mage Tournament, Taliesin addresses the crowd and explains the rules. He holds up the necklace and promises Guinevere's hand in marriage to its rightful owner. In the audience, Arthur realizes the jewelry belongs to him. As Arthur gets ready to step forward, a black-armored knight claims it instead.

Episode 9 Scene by Scene

  1. 00:00: Examining the Lion Necklace

    Guinevere meets President Taliesin inside the palace study. She presents the lion emblem necklace she pulled from the man who saved her. Taliesin examines the piece and identifies it as an artifact from the Kingdom of Albion.

  2. 00:33: Taliesin Addresses the Arena

    President Taliesin stands on the balcony overlooking the Continental Mage Tournament arena. He greets the gathering spectators and announces the tournament regulations. Then, he raises the necklace and announces that Guinevere will marry the person who owns it.

  3. 01:16: An Impostor Steps Forward

    Arthur spots the necklace from the arena grounds and realizes Guinevere took it from him during the rescue. He gets ready to step forward. Suddenly, a black-armored knight interrupts the crowd and claims the necklace belongs to him.

The episode closes right as the black-armored knight presents himself to President Taliesin and Lady Guinevere as the savior from the docks. Arthur remains trapped in the crowd after his moment gets stolen. Will Taliesin believe this stranger's claim, or will Arthur find a way to prove that the Albion necklace is his?
