Episode 1 recap: Burning Blood
A uniformed woman rides in a vehicle across a dark, snow-covered wasteland while reviewing archival files and an old black-and-white photograph. A drop of blood falls from her finger onto the image and burns a glowing circular hole straight through the paper. Shocked, she uses a stethoscope gauge to measure her vitals and mutters that it must be a documented physiological reaction. Her explanation fails when an abnormal red light begins pulsating right through the fabric over her heart.
