Charlie battles the Ghoul while Medusa blasts the flying Harpy with her magic eye. The system warns Charlie that a necro thread links the two monsters. Outside District 7, Ada detects energy levels over 10,000 and orders a light barrier dome around the area. Inside, the monsters combine forces and shatter Medusa's shield. Charlie steps in with a golden rune barrier to protect her, then leaps up with his blade to sever the bond.

Episode 9 Scene by Scene

  1. 00:00: Dual Blood Bond Warning

    Charlie fights the Ghoul on the museum floor while the Harpy circles above. Medusa uses her third eye gem to knock the Harpy down. The system alerts Charlie to a dual blood bond and instructs him to sever the necro thread.

  2. 00:49: Lockdown Outside District Seven

    In the pouring rain, Ada and her tactical squad track energy readings passing 10,000 from two S-class entities. Recognizing an unidentified combatant is fighting inside, Ada orders her unit to erect a light barrier dome to contain the cursed aura.

  3. 01:23: Golden Rune Barrier Defense

    The Ghoul and Harpy unite their powers and strike together. Their combined assault shatters Medusa's defense and throws her backward. As the Ghoul shoots a lethal red beam at her, Charlie jumps between them and projects a golden circular rune shield.

  4. 02:03: Leap to Cut the Thread

    The system informs Charlie that the exorcism condition is primed if he cuts the necro thread connecting both beasts. Charlie's eyes glow gold. He brandishes his blade and leaps toward the midair red line linking the two attacking creatures.
