Olivia walks out of the bedroom and demands new bedding from Bella. When the maid mocks Leon's bandaged face, Olivia strikes her across the cheek. Bella claims she takes orders only from Steward Sebastian. In response, Olivia demands an immediate courtyard gathering of the entire staff. Leon clutches his blanket in bed, suspecting his new wife works for his royal enemies. Outside, Olivia rests on a bench with a whip, awaiting Sebastian.

Episode 8 Scene by Scene

  1. 00:00: A Slap in the Hallway

    Olivia steps away from Leon and tells Bella to fetch fresh sheets. Bella spots the prince's bandages and sneers at his needs. Olivia cuts her mockery short with a hard slap across her face.

  2. 00:39: Gathering the White Tower Staff

    Bella cries out that she is the Queen's attendant and obeys only Steward Sebastian. Olivia refuses to back down. She commands Bella to assemble the steward and all servants immediately, sending the frightened maid running down the corridor.

  3. 01:08: Prince Leon's Dark Suspicions

    Alone in his room, Leon grips his bedsheet with tight fingers. He listens to the noise outside and assumes Olivia serves the Queen. He wonders bitterly why his enemies refuse to let him die in peace.

    Olivia waits on a stone bench with a whip in her hands while the servants assemble. Bella leads Steward Sebastian into the open yard. Sebastian bows and apologizes for being late, while Olivia stares back with a knowing smile.
