Natalie calms down Mrs. Nash and decides they must round up the entire family. She asks a household maid for Mr. Nash's location and brushes off a warning about his mealtime habits. In the dining room, they discover Mr. Nash feasting on king crab and wine. Mrs. Nash grabs his ear in anger. Natalie heads off alone to find John Nash. She walks into a lounge and discovers him half-dressed beside a sleeping woman.
Natalie settles her frantic mother down in the hallway and resolves to find the rest of the household. A maid warns her that Mr. Nash hates interruptions while eating. Natalie ignores the staff member and goes to the dining room.
Natalie and Mrs. Nash walk into the dining room to find Mr. Nash drinking wine and devouring king crab. Mrs. Nash angrily twists his ear for gorging himself. Natalie leaves her parents behind to track down her brother John Nash.
Natalie steps inside a sitting room and finds John Nash lounging on a couch without his shirt. An unknown woman sleeps beside him. Natalie gives her brother ten minutes to put on clothes and join them for an urgent conversation.
“The master doesn't like to be disturbed during meals.”
“Oh my two favorite girls in the world, come eat! There's no way I can finish all this.”
“Eat, eat, eat, that's all you ever do!”
“You have 10 minutes. Get dressed and come outside. We have something really important to talk about.”
Natalie catches John Nash lounging half-naked with a sleeping companion in the sitting room. She gives him a strict ten-minute deadline to put on clothes and meet outside for an urgent family discussion. Will John take her warning seriously, and how will the family react once Natalie explains the deadly novel plot they are stuck in?
