On the street, Mara sees three men kidnap Sophie Moretti into an SUV. Mara hurls a propane tank, crashes the car, and fights off the kidnappers. At the precinct, Sophie begs Mara to stay.

    Dean walks up to Mara's food cart with divorce papers in hand. He attacks her looks and weight with harsh words. Before walking away, he smashes her cart and leaves her standing alone on the pavement.

  2. 00:20: Mara Remembers Dean's Betrayal

    Mara looks back on years spent nursing Dean's bedridden mother until her death. Right after the funeral, Dean brought his childhood sweetheart to the house. He forced Mara out with nowhere to live and zero money to her name.

  3. 00:31: Rescue on the City Street

    Three criminals push young Sophie Moretti into a black SUV. Mara runs after the moving vehicle and throws a propane tank through its glass. The car crashes, and Mara physically overpowers all three attackers to rescue the child.

  4. 01:17: Safe at the Police Station

    Mara takes Sophie inside the police station. She uses her remaining fourteen dollars to buy ingredients and prepare hot soup in the staff break room. Sophie holds on to Mara's clothes and begs her not to walk away.
