Seraya demands the bright sun lamp come down to protect the cub from cramps, sparking anger from the elders and Nyla. Talen overrules the court and cuts the illumination down. Seraya settles Morris into his cradle, but Nyla brings out burning Fire Pearls. As Seraya turns away, Nyla shoves a pearl toward the baby.

Episode 6 Scene by Scene

  1. 00:00: Gathering in the Great Hall

    Guests assemble for the Hundred-Day Ceremony while Seraya holds baby Morris. The blonde Queen glares at Seraya and issues a direct warning. She promises severe consequences for the caretaker if anything goes wrong with the young prince during the event.

  2. 00:20: Challenging the Sacred Sun Lamp

    Seraya speaks up and demands attendants remove the glaring sun lamp above the throne. She explains that the heat gave Morris painful stomach cramps. Nyla and the court elders protest loudly, claiming the caretaker is openly breaking sacred ancient tradition.

  3. 00:54: The Sea King Steps In

    Talen silences the arguing elders and overrides palace custom. He orders the guards to reduce the harsh light by half. He tells the gathered court that laws exist to protect the living rather than lead young cubs to their graves.

  4. 01:11: The Fire Pearl Custom

    Morris calms down, and Seraya lays him gently into a shell cradle. Nyla immediately walks forward carrying glowing Fire Pearls. She insists the infant prince must touch the burning items to prove the divine power of his royal bloodline.

  5. 01:28: A Caretaker's Warning

    Seraya grabs Nyla by the wrist to stop her from advancing. She reminds the room that infants put everything in their mouths. Seraya then turns her back to pick up a feeding bottle for the restless prince.

  6. 01:49: Nyla Takes Her Chance

    While Seraya is turned away reaching for the bottle, Nyla leans over the shell crib. She pushes the burning Fire Pearl directly in front of the baby prince. Morris spots the bright glow and lifts his hands toward the heat.
