Ethan Graham signs Cynthia Jensen's equity contract, then threatens to revoke the shares unless she prepares dinner for Kelly Sullivan. Cynthia yields to his demand, but quickly texts her contact to sell the shares immediately. At the villa, Cynthia hears Ethan repeat promises to Kelly's baby bump that he once told her. When Kelly rejects Cynthia's cooking as too bland, Cynthia knocks the food onto the floor.
Ethan signs Cynthia's equity agreement in his office. When Kelly Sullivan and Ethan order her to cook dinner, Cynthia refuses. Ethan threatens to cancel her shares. Cynthia backs down, photographs the document, and texts someone to sell the shares immediately.
Cynthia enters the villa and finds Ethan whispering to Kelly's baby bump. Five years ago, Ethan spoke the exact same words to Cynthia. Ethan hands Cynthia a digital pregnancy recipe card, and Cynthia heads into the kitchen to start cooking.
Cynthia serves the food, but Kelly claims the meal lacks flavor and demands a new batch. Cynthia sweeps the plates off the counter onto the floor. Ethan scolds Cynthia, then heads out to dinner with Kelly, leaving Cynthia behind.
“Cynthia, I just gave you those shares, and you dare defy me? Do you want me to take them back?”
“I said, I'm craving something flavorful right now. Make it again.”
“If you don't want to eat, then don't.”
“Expect me to clean up? Dream on. Four more days, and I can get away from this pair of scumbags.”
Ethan heads out for dinner with Kelly, leaving Cynthia to clean up the shattered plates. Kelly smirks back at Cynthia as they exit. Cynthia refuses to touch the mess and counts down the remaining four days until she can walk away forever. Will Cynthia successfully sell off all her shares before Ethan discovers her plan?
