Episode: 4
Serena goes back to her home with ripped clothes to see her sick mother. She lies about her night to keep her mother calm. In the bathroom, Serena weeps on the floor over Marcus and their money troubles. Her belly suddenly shines with gold light, and she promises to protect her unborn child. Nine months pass, and Serena delivers her baby boy alone in a basement. Then Marcus kicks the door open.
Serena walks into her rundown bedroom wearing a ripped maid uniform. Her bedridden mother asks what happened. Serena hides the traumatic assault from her. Instead, she tells her mother that she simply worked very hard during the banquet shift.
Serena sits on the bathroom floor and breaks down in tears over Marcus and their unpaid debts. Her lower abdomen suddenly shines with golden light. Feeling the life inside her womb, Serena makes a firm vow to keep her baby alive.
Nine months later, Serena hides in an abandoned dark basement room. She screams through severe labor pain while lying across a rusty examination table. After delivering the child alone, she pulls her newborn wolf cub against her chest and holds him gently.
The basement door bursts open as Marcus breaks into the hideout. He carries a flashlight in one hand and a liquor bottle in the other. He shines the beam into the dark room and spots Serena holding her newborn infant.
“Did that animal Marcus do something to you again?”
“You are my child. And no one will ever take you from me.”
“My baby. Mommy's little wolf cub. Even if it costs me my life, Mommy will protect you.”
“I'll sell the little brat to the black market. Cover my debts.”
Marcus steps closer in the dark basement, glaring at the infant. He declares his plan to sell the baby to black-market buyers to wipe out his debts. He extends his clawed hands toward Serena to rip the newborn from her arms. Can Serena fight off Marcus and save her child from being sold?
