Episode: 5
Serena loses her newborn child after a hooded kidnapper attacks her in a warehouse. The criminal flees into the storm but abandons the baby outside a church during a gang shootout. In his hall, Asher uses red energy to kill a captive. He catches a scent of his bloodline on the wind, rushes to the church steps, and finds his own infant son.
A man dressed in black tears the newborn baby from an injured Serena in an abandoned warehouse. Serena lunges forward to take her child back. The kidnapper kicks her hard against the floor and flees into the dark.
The kidnapper runs through the snowy streets holding the infant. Gunfire from a gang shootout suddenly breaks out around him. To save his own life, the man drops the baby in the snow outside a church and runs away alone.
Inside the pack hall, a captive tied to a chair begs for mercy. Asher ignores the pleas and blasts the prisoner into the wall with red energy. A long-haired subordinate watches Asher in silence and notes the wolf king's growing coldness.
Asher senses a familiar bloodline scent calling to him. He transforms into a streak of red light and lands on the church steps. He finds the infant in the snow and confirms the baby is his through a glowing Alpha crest.
“Give him back! Give me back my baby!”
“Ever since that woman abandoned him, the Alpha has grown colder and colder.”
“There's a familiar scent in the air, kin to my own bloodline. It's calling to me.”
“A top Alpha mark like this, he must be my own flesh and blood. I've only ever been with one woman. Is she here? Is she close?”
Asher lifts the swaddled baby from the freezing snow and checks the child's glowing forehead mark. He knows the infant belongs to him and the woman from that night. Standing alone in the blizzard, Asher peers into the storm to see if the missing mother is hiding nearby. Will Asher track Serena down before she freezes in the cold?
