Episode: 2
Aria strikes Dante across the face right after the backstage door shuts. His eyes turn red. Flashbacks show Dante and Dominic battering each other in a cage over her hand. Aria selected Dominic to prevent them from killing each other. Later, a pregnant Aria found Dominic in bed with Elena. Dante tracked Aria down in the rain and offered to raise Dominic's baby, but Aria rejected him and walked away.
Aria hits Dante across the face immediately after the door closes. Dante absorbs the blow. He slowly turns his head back toward her, his eyes turning red with anger as they stand alone in the room.
Aria remembers an underground cage match where Dante and Dominic fought brutally for the right to marry her. Fearing the men would kill each other in the brawl, Aria broke Dante's heart and chose Dominic instead.
The night before her engagement party, Aria discovers she is pregnant. She heads to Dominic's bedroom to share the surprise. Instead, she finds Dominic in bed with Elena. Elena smirks and taunts Aria about her body.
Heartbroken Aria runs through the city storm and collapses against a wall. Dante appears holding an umbrella. He urges Aria to come with him and promises to raise Dominic's child. Aria refuses to harm Dante's reputation and walks away.
“Your fiancé says my body moves better than yours.”
“Come with me.”
“Keep it. I'll raise it.”
Aria leaves Dante standing under his umbrella in the heavy rain, choosing to walk away rather than drag him down with another man's baby. As she retreats into the darkness, the memory ends. Will Dante ever reveal what drove him from this past devotion to his vicious wedding night scheme?
