Victoria announces that King Group is her company and declares Julian Mercer is her partner. Sean informs her that hired executives are easily dismissed. When she orders him to apologize and threatens his finances, Julian steps forward. Julian grasps Victoria's hands and offers Sean a mocking grin. Sean kicks Julian across the room. Victoria swings at Sean, but Sean catches her wrist and slaps her face before the crowd.
Victoria confronts Sean in the penthouse banquet hall, declaring King Group is hers and Julian Mercer is her man. Sean points out that an appointed executive can always be replaced. Victoria demands an apology to Julian and threatens to cut off his cards.
Julian Mercer steps between them with fake humility, clutching Victoria's hands right in front of Sean. He speaks an apology out loud, but he stares directly at Sean with a smug, mocking smirk across his face.
Sean kicks Julian in the chest, knocking him backward across the hall. Victoria rushes forward to strike Sean. Sean catches her incoming arm and slaps her cheek in full view of the shocked party guests.
“King Group is my company, Sean! And Julian is my man!”
“Let me remind you, Victoria, a hired CEO is still just a glorified employee. And you can be replaced at any time.”
“Apologize to Julian right now, or I'll make you regret it!”
“Sean... Did you just hit me?”
Victoria stands frozen in front of the banquet crowd, clutching her stinging face. She cannot believe Sean actually struck her. Julian lies groaning on the floor behind her. Will Victoria follow through on her threat to cut off Sean's financial access, or will Sean take King Group away from her next?
