At the gala, Victoria mocks Sean and offers him work polishing shoes. Julian Mercer charges at Sean, but Sean sweeps him aside and knocks him down. Four high-ranking King Group directors arrive on a red carpet. Victoria and Julian run over to greet them and boast about kicking Sean out. Eleanor stops them cold by asking if they are really trying to expel the company's 51 percent majority shareholder.
Victoria tells Sean he can only work as her shoe polisher. She calls security to expel him. Julian Mercer lunges to shove Sean, but Sean counters effortlessly and drops Julian straight to the floor.
Guards lay down a red carpet across the banquet entrance. Eleanor, Seraphina, Lacey, and Vivian enter together in formal evening gowns. The crowd watches in awe as Sean smiles calmly across the room.
Victoria and Julian hurry toward the four directors to flatter them. They proudly announce that they are kicking Sean out. Eleanor stops them immediately by asking if they are expelling the company's 51 percent controlling shareholder.
“Well, my mansion needs a servant. You can polish my shoes.”
“You're a hired CEO. He's an assistant. Neither of you can throw me out.”
“Tonight, I get King Group shares and a board seat. I can crush you like an ant!”
“Are you trying to tell me... you're throwing out King Group's biggest shareholder, who owns 51% of this company?”
Victoria and Julian Mercer freeze in horror as Eleanor's words sink in. They slowly turn around to look back at Sean. Sean stands across the hall and calmly straightens his suit jacket. How will Victoria react now that she knows her ex-husband actually owns the company she runs?
