Episode: 7
Kate sits alone at her office desk at night, looking over surveillance photos. She remembers Chris asking her about cake earlier. Instead of worrying about emotions, Kate sends Hannah a message asking her to track down every gift Chris handed to Vivian. Three days later, Hannah walks into the office wearing a suit and dark sunglasses. She sits down angrily, and Kate hands her a fresh cup of coffee.
Late at night, Kate sits by herself in her high-rise office. Surveillance photos cover her desk while she thinks about Chris asking about cake. She grabs her phone and messages Hannah to uncover every gift Chris bought for Vivian.
Three days later, Hannah enters Kate's office wearing sunglasses and a light-colored suit. She drops into a chair, visibly furious with Chris. Kate stays composed, sets down a cup of coffee for her friend, and prepares to hear the report.
“Then what do you want to know?”
“I want to know what exactly he's given her.”
“I seriously want to see if Chris has lost his mind.”
“Give me whatever's the priciest thing you've got, I'm mad enough today to justify it.”
Hannah lifts the warm coffee cup to take a sip, sitting right across from Kate's desk. She has the findings ready, and her furious attitude suggests Chris crossed serious boundaries. Kate waits across from her, ready to hear everything. What did Hannah uncover about the gifts Chris gave to Vivian?
