Chloe dabs at her wet clothing and introduces herself to Aiden at the lounge table. Aiden's tablemates laugh at her attempt, and a woman beside him tells her to go away. Aiden stands up, hooks his arm through hers to take a sip, and escorts her away. In the corridor, they press against the wall, trading kisses while Aiden calms her hesitation.
Chloe cleans a cocktail spill from her skirt and offers to buy Aiden a drink. His table companions ridicule her, but Aiden rises from his seat. He hooks arms with Chloe, drinks from her glass, and locks eyes with her.
Aiden and Chloe press against a hallway wall in a deep kiss. Chloe admits she is scared. Aiden questions if she worries about an ex finding out. He kisses her fingers and lifts her up as the embrace turns more intense.
“Excuse me, I'm Chloe. I was wondering if I could buy you a drink?”
“Beat it, country girl. Aiden doesn't drink with someone like you.”
“You're here. Just enjoy it. Sex isn't a sin. It's a gift.”
“God! I can't say no to him, I'm losing control.”
Aiden lifts Chloe off her feet against the hallway wall as their passionate kiss grows more intense. Chloe gives in to the moment completely and loses control of her hesitation. Will she go through with spending the night with Aiden, or will her doubts stop her before they reach his room?
