Aiden arrives on his bike with a gun and drives the street attackers away. He inspects Chloe's injured face, gives her his jacket, and hugs her. Chloe asks to go with him, so he drives her across the city to his penthouse. Inside, they kiss and undress each other. Chloe suddenly remembers Dylan's betrayal and stops in tears. Aiden grabs her chin, warns her not to play games, and kisses her forcefully.
Aiden pulls up on his motorcycle holding a gun, scaring the two attackers away into the dark. He checks Chloe's hurt face, wraps his jacket around her shoulders, and pulls her into a hug before she asks to leave together.
Chloe climbs onto the back of the motorcycle with Aiden. He speeds across the highway and over the bridge into the night, transporting her directly away from the street toward his private residence.
They enter Aiden's apartment and kiss passionately while stripping off each other's clothes. Chloe suddenly pictures her ex-boyfriend buttoning up his trousers after cheating on her. The painful flash memory makes her freeze, weep, and apologize.
Aiden grips Chloe's chin firmly and asks if she is messing with him. He tells her not to play games with him. Instead of letting her back away, he pulls her close for a forceful, passionate kiss.
“Let's see who the hell thinks they can mess around on my turf.”
“I have nowhere to go. Take me with you.”
“I'm just... not in the right headspace. I can't do this right now, sorry.”
“Don't try to play games with me.”
