Episode: 4
Owen lights a cigarette, tosses down his lighter, and calls Nina a buzzkill to her face. Ella stares in surprise when Owen steps in on her side. Kyle wraps up his three-minute kiss with Nina and sits down. Ella pulls out her phone and removes Kyle on Instagram. Kyle spots the change, grabs her wrist, and curses at her. Ella states their relationship is over, but Kyle laughs off her words.
Owen sparks his cigarette and drops his lighter onto the booth table. He uses Nina's own label against her and coldly repeats it. Ella watches wide-eyed because she never expected Kyle's close friend to defend her against Nina.
Kyle separates from Nina after their kiss and slides back into his seat. Ella ignores him and unlocks her phone. Without hesitation, she navigates straight to Kyle's Instagram profile and taps the unfollow button in front of the group.
Kyle sees the unfollow on his screen and snaps. He seizes Ella's wrist with force to confront her. Ella informs him their romance is finished. Kyle sneers back, claiming he would never care if she made out with another person.
“Buzzkill.”
“What the fuck, Ella?”
“I already told you. We're done.”
“It's just a game. How far are you gonna take this? If you kissed someone else for a game, I wouldn't care at all.”
Kyle holds Ella's wrist tight, dismissing her breakup as ridiculous overreaction. He taunts her, daring her to kiss someone else to see if he even flinches. With Kyle testing her limits and Owen watching closely from the table, will Ella take Kyle's dare and find someone else in the bar to kiss?
