Sophie plays an audio recording of Elena Hart fleeing Celeste before a crash, then asks Adrian for medical aid. Haunted by a fatal lab fire linked to Elena, Adrian calls guards to eject Sophie until she displays a custom pocket watch.
Adrian Knox stands in a banquet hall and announces his engagement to Celeste Ward. He attempts to slide the ring onto Celeste's finger, but young Sophie Hart rushes through the entrance doors and yells for him to halt.
Sophie plays a recorded voice message of Elena Hart stating that Celeste is pursuing her vehicle. The girl points at Celeste, blames her for the collision, and tells Adrian that she is his biological daughter with Elena.
In a flashback to six years earlier, Adrian confronts Elena in his office. He furiously blames her for setting fire to the laboratory and causing his sister Lily's death, and he shoves the crying woman away from him.

While an officer drags her toward the exit, Sophie lifts up an antique pocket watch. Adrian stops when he sees the item, identifying it as a unique piece marked with letters A and E that he gave Elena years ago.

“Why did you burn the lab? You killed Lily. She's my sister!”
“That watch... I gave it to Elena six years ago. It's the only one in the world.”
The episode concludes as security pulls Sophie toward the banquet exit while she holds up the antique watch.
