Jade offers Serena two harsh options: wash dishes or strip naked, hold steak in her mouth, and crawl outside like an animal. Serena warns the Wagners of their impending fall. An angry Leo hurls a steak plate at her dress. When the restaurant manager presses for payment, Serena asks a former business acquaintance to lend her a phone. Jade arrogantly tells the woman to hand it over.
Jade demands that Serena either clean dishes or strip down, hold steak in her mouth, and crawl out like a dog. Serena warns that the Wagners will collapse. Leo angrily shatters a plate of steak against Serena's dress.
The restaurant manager asks Serena how she plans to pay her bill. Serena spots an acquaintance from an old business deal. Serena walks over and requests only to borrow the woman's phone to place a quick phone call.
Jade taunts Serena openly in front of the banquet guests. Convinced no one in New York will back her, Jade urges the woman to pass the phone over to expose whoever is foolish enough to help.
“Take off your clothes, put this steak in your mouth, and crawl out of here like a dog.”
“So this is really what you've chosen? Then when the Wagners fall, don't blame me.”
“I'm not asking you to pay for me, I just need to borrow your phone to call my friend. Can I?”
“Let's see who in New York is actually stupid enough to stand up for her.”
Jade stands smirking in the banquet hall, convinced that nobody in New York will come to Serena's defense. She pushes the acquaintance to pass over the device to humiliate Serena further. Will the woman hand Serena the phone, and who will Serena reach out to when she finally places the call?
