A bodyguard warns Dante that Lorenzo is downstairs. Dante tells Lily to wear a dress that displays her neck marks and play along. In the dining room, Lorenzo mocks Dante's disability. Dante retorts and pulls Lily onto his lap, declaring her the next Mrs. Corleone. Lily agrees she loves Dante. Dante exposes scratch marks on his chest. Lorenzo snaps when Dante brings up his mother. Guns are drawn, and Dante aims right at Lorenzo.
A bodyguard alerts Dante that Lorenzo is waiting downstairs. Dante tells Lily to put on a dress that reveals the marks on her neck. He orders her to push his wheelchair to the dining room and play along as his lover.
Lily wheels Dante into the dining room to meet Lorenzo. Lorenzo immediately makes fun of Dante being in a wheelchair. Dante quickly fires back with a blunt remark about keeping his woman up and screaming all through the previous night.
Lorenzo jokes about borrowing Lily for a couple of days. In response, Dante pulls Lily straight onto his lap. He tells Lorenzo that Lily is not an ordinary nurse, but the future Mrs. Corleone and Lorenzo's upcoming sister-in-law.
Lily plays along and claims she has fallen in love with Dante. Lorenzo ridicules both of them. Dante pulls open his collar to display fresh scratch marks across his chest. Lorenzo loses his temper and curses, refusing to acknowledge Lily.
Dante brings up Lorenzo's mother to strike a nerve. Lorenzo knocks his wine glass over in pure rage and threatens Dante. Bodyguards on both sides immediately pull out their firearms. Dante draws his own concealed pistol and aims it at Lorenzo.
“Wheel me downstairs, little bunny. It's time to play the lovebirds.”
“She's not just some nurse. She's the future Mrs. Corleone. You'll address her as your sister-in-law very soon.”
“I'll never accept this weak little bitch as the next Mrs. Corleone.”
“Your mother was just as pure and innocent back then. So, Lorenzo, is that what you think of your own mother?”
Lorenzo threatens Dante's life after Dante insults his late mother. Wine spills as guards draw their guns on both sides of the table. Dante quickly pulls out a hidden handgun and aims it directly at Lorenzo's face while Lily watches in horror. Will Dante pull the trigger, or will Lorenzo shoot first?
