Episode: 8
Anna Winters sees Elias Reed in the hallway, but he walks past her in silence. At breakfast, Madam Julie Reed gives Anna a glass of milk. Anna offers it back to her first. Madam Julie takes a drink, cries out about poison, and collapses. Castle guards rush into the dining hall and pin Anna to the floor. A maid finds a poison bottle under Anna's bed and orders her immediate death.
Anna walks through the corridor and greets Elias Reed. Elias glares at her and keeps walking without speaking. Anna tells herself that observing Harrison the previous evening did not set off her affliction, convincing herself that Harrison is her cure.
Anna joins Madam Julie Reed for breakfast. Julie hands her a cup of milk to build her strength. Anna politely asks Julie to take the first drink. Julie sips it, chokes on the liquid, gasps out poison, and hits the floor.
A maid rushes inside with guards and pins Anna among the spilled milk and broken glass. A searcher brings back a bottle marked with a skull from beneath Anna's bed. The maid orders Anna killed, and a guard pulls out a dagger.
“You're about to be with Harrison. You need to keep your strength up.”
“Poison...”
“You dare poison Madam Julie?! Guards, seize this b*tch and cut her to pieces!”
“Caught red-handed! What else do you have to say for yourself? Kill her!”
A castle guard pins Anna Winters down on the floor by her hair. He pulls out a sharp dagger and raises the blade directly over her face to carry out the maid's execution order. Will anyone arrive in time to stop the guard from driving the knife into Anna, or will she die framed for Madam Julie's poisoning?
