Sarah reads in bed the night before their wedding. Nate walks into the room and says his sick ex-girlfriend Brittany wants to see him. Nate explains that Brittany is terminally ill, so Sarah agrees to let him go visit her. Nate grabs some clothes and swears to return before dawn. Hours pass, and he misses his deadline. Sarah waits by her wedding gown, collapses in pain, and develops a glowing wolf mark.
Sarah sits on the bed reading a book on the night before her wedding. Nate walks inside the bedroom. He tells her that his first love Brittany asked to see him one final time, bringing up memories of the past.
Nate explains that Brittany suffers from an incurable illness and claims he will regret staying away. Although Sarah feels deep heartache, she understands his position. She gives Nate permission to go visit his ex-girlfriend right away.
Nate gathers clothing from the wardrobe in their bedroom. Standing at the doorway, he makes a clear promise to Sarah that he will return before the sun rises. He opens the bedroom door and steps out into the night.
Sarah stares at the wedding dress hanging beside the window. An hour passes beyond their agreed time with no sign of Nate. Sarah writhes on the bed in severe pain as a glowing wolf crest appears on her forehead.
“Brittany wants to see me.”
“If this is the last night I'll ever see her, I'll regret it if I don't go Sarah.”
“I understand. If that's the case then you should go visit her as soon as possible.”
“I'll be back before sunrise.”
The agreed return time passes by an entire hour, but Nate does not return to the bedroom. Sarah lies alone on the bed in deep agony as a radiant wolf mark glows brightly on her forehead. Will Nate come back in time for the wedding, or has he chosen Brittany over his bride?
