Divorced: Claimed by the Mafia King

Divorced: Claimed by the Mafia King Episode Guide

1. EP 1: Out in the Cold

Claire catches Preston cheating and demands a divorce. His family mocks her, and Preston slaps her, demanding half a million dollars under their prenup. She signs the papers, gives up every penny, and walks into the pouring rain. A flyer on a telephone pole advertises an urgent need for a stepmother. Claire arrives at the Moretti estate and tells the butler she only wants the job. In the hallway, she bumps into Rafael Moretti, who stands over a bleeding corpse and rests his bloody gun right against her neck.

2. EP 2: The Boy Under the Table

Claire clarifies she is there for the stepmother job, not to marry anyone. Rafael puts his gun away, and staff give Claire clean guest clothes. In the dining room, young Noah hides under the table, refusing dinner from both the maid and Rafael. Claire crawls under the table and uses a Groot toy to win Noah's trust. Noah takes her hand and joins her at the table. Rafael pulls out a chair for Claire, watches her feed his son, and quietly asks her to meet him upstairs after dinner.

3. EP 3: A Contract in the Dark

Claire puts Noah to bed, keeping the private promise she made to the boy. Downstairs, Rafael offers her a fifty-thousand-dollar check for managing dinner without a tantrum. He places an antique family ring on top of the money. To keep Noah stable, Rafael proposes a contract marriage. Claire hesitates, remembering his dangerous world, but Rafael slips the ring onto her finger anyway. He tells her it is strictly business and promises he will never force her into anything. Less than ten hours after her divorce, Claire is married again.

4. EP 4: Breakfast and a Ride

At breakfast, Rafael pushes another fifty-thousand-dollar check toward Claire for reading Noah a bedtime story. Claire remembers Preston berating her when she once asked for twenty dollars for a shirt. She turns down the extra cash. Rafael cuts her steak for her, stating Noah's trust is worth far more. When Claire prepares to head to the hospital for a checkup, Noah panics. Fearing she will vanish like his birth mother, he sprints into the car. Rafael breaks his own rules, letting Noah leave the grounds under armed watch.

5. EP 5: The Hidden File

At the clinic, Claire picks up her medication for severe depression. Noah waits in the lobby with his Batman toy, splits his chocolate bar with her, and promises to protect her. The moment reminds Claire of the Hollis family, who once told her to scrub floors while she struggled with depression. Outside, Rafael pulls up in a sedan. Noah proudly boasts about protecting Claire, but Rafael spots the pill bag and medical sheet she tries to hide behind her back. Panic sets in as Claire begs him not to fire her.

6. EP 6: A Vintage Ride

Rafael reads Claire's medical report and hugs her, promising she will keep caring for Noah and see top specialists. A man in scrubs suddenly rushes Claire with a knife. Rafael kicks him down, shoots him dead, and orders his men to finish off the accomplices. Back home, Claire turns down an unlimited black card, asking only for a simple car. She picks a vintage vehicle from his garage, unaware it is a custom Rimac. Later, after a day at the pier, Preston ambushes Claire beside her car.

7. EP 7: Preston on the Pier

Preston mocks Claire's job and calls her trash. Claire slaps him across the face, gets into the Rimac, and speeds off, spraying Preston's suit with soda. On the drive, Preston's sister and nephew call Claire to insult her, leaving her weeping on the roadside until Noah comforts her. Back at the estate, Rafael cancels his evening meetings to share dinner. Later that night, Claire steps out of the shower in a silk slip. Rafael knocks and enters, causing Claire to crash directly into his chest as her strap snaps.

8. EP 8: One Word

Claire falls onto the bed with Rafael, and he flips her under him before pulling down her nightgown to give her privacy. He asks why she avoids the designer clothes in her closet and brings up her run-in with Preston Hollis. Rafael pulls Claire onto his lap, praising the way she handles Noah. His tone turns lethal as he tells her nobody crosses his family. He looks directly into her eyes and promises that with one simple word from her, Preston will be gone for good.

9. EP 9: The Gala Dress

Rafael asks Claire to be his paid date for an upcoming evening gala. The next evening, Claire walks downstairs in a custom gown and fine jewelry. Noah calls her beautiful, and Rafael tells his son to call her Mommy. Remembering how the Hollis family once forced her to put on an apron during parties, Claire worries about embarrassing him. The butler assures her Rafael makes the rules. At the gala, Claire holds Rafael's arm before stepping away for champagne. Preston suddenly corners her, grabbing her wrist.

10. EP 10: Claimed in Public

Preston corners Claire, furious that the Moretti family canceled every contract with his firm overnight. He orders her to return to him, but Claire tells him she would rather rot on Rikers Island. Preston grabs her violently. Claire breaks free, stumbling backward right into Rafael's chest. Preston scrambles to salvage business, handing over a card and claiming Claire is his wife. Rafael smashes the card to the floor, lifts Claire's hand to display the wedding ring, and introduces Claire Hayes to the entire room as his wife.
